Chamaeleon welcomes Armindo Costa and Ashish Aggarwal, as the firm’s Associate Partners
“We are thrilled to welcome our two Associate Partners: Armindo Costa and Ashish Aggarwal. As we are building the next generation of Venture Capital firm at Chamaeleon, we welcome Armindo, ex-Goldman Sachs and Ashish, formerly with Grishin Robotics and Opera Software”
Chamaeleon is a Venture Capital firm founded by Nuno Goncalves Pedro, Songyee Yoon, and Alex Santos, who collectively have invested in companies like App Annie, DraftKings, Gusto, Kakao, Outsystems, Robinhood, Rubrik, Virta Health, Cloudflare, Ometria, among many others. It is bringing a full-stack approach to VC investing with its own proprietary technology and quant engines, augmenting its deal team and its world class network of contributors.
Chamaeleon is actively hiring two Associate positions in our deals team — one in the US and one in Europe (email resumes at rockstars@chamaeleon.vc). We also encourage outstanding data scientists and engineers to contact us at outliers@chamaeleon.vc for upcoming positions in our Quant & Tech team.
Armindo will lead the Quant and Technology team at Chamaeleon.
Armindo is a quant, data enthusiast, and relentless problem solver with over 15 years of experience in data and models. Previously, he was a director and manager at Goldman Sachs, in the core quant team responsible for the challenge of all models used by the firm and advising the board of directors on complex transactions.
Armindo is also the co-founder of a startup providing data analytics on vacation rentals, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics, and has authored multiple pioneering research papers in Applied Topology.
Ashish has 15+ years of experience as an operator, entrepreneur, and investor. He previously led investments in many category defining startups such as Ziva Dynamics, Taskade, ClubFeast, Spin (acq. by Ford), and many others at Grishin Robotics. Ashish is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 24).
Before that, Ashish led M&A and corporate strategy for Opera Software and Ashish worked in marketing analytics at Dell. At Yahoo!, he built large-scale enterprise infrastructure for advertising products and led service-engineering teams to design dev-ops systems. Ashish co-founded two startups in India — one in e-commerce and the other in the social live TV space.
Ashish holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and London Business School, a MEM focusing on design thinking from McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a BE in Information Science from RVCE, India.
